GEZZA began with a chance encounter that turned out to have more history behind it than either of us realized.
Solomon was working next door to Yohannes when they met and got talking. Later, they discovered that a year earlier Solomon had been part of the crew that completed the parging and concrete resurfacing at Yohannes’s home before Yohannes had even bought it.
So before there was ever a conversation about working together, Yohannes already knew the quality of Solomon’s workmanship.
Their strengths complemented one another, and GEZZA grew from that.
The name GEZZA comes from geza, the Tigrinya word for home or house. For two people with Eritrean roots focused on repairing and restoring homes, it felt like the right name.
GEZZA is new. The experience behind it is not.
Solomon leads the masonry, restoration and concrete work at GEZZA, bringing ten years of hands-on experience across residential and commercial projects.
His experience includes masonry repair, parging, repointing, concrete work, chimney repair and rebuilding, and other restoration work.
He brings practical judgment, strong attention to detail and high standards for how each job is completed.
Yohannes leads customer relationships, business development and project coordination at GEZZA.
His role is to make the process clear and well managed from the first conversation through to the completion of the work.
He works closely with customers on quotes, scheduling, project details and follow-up, helping keep each project organized from start to finish.
